Apprenticeship Programs

The Richmond School District offers a number of Apprenticeship programs in partnership with local post-secondary institutions and the Industry Training Authority.

Advantages to the programs:

  • earn high school credit & post-secondary credit at the same time (Dual Credit)
  • avoid wait lists & graduate from your post-secondary program a year ahead of other students
  • save on your first year tuition fees

Apprenticeship training uses post-secondary curriculum. The required math and language skills necessary for success vary between trades. Check to see if you have the skills necessary for your trade choice at ESSENTIAL SKILLS. Log in and register, its FREE, pick your trade and take the test.

Interviews for programs starting in September 2011 or February 2012 will take place starting in March 2011. A member of the Career Programs staff will contact you to set up a date & time.
