McNair Secondary School
* Students may attend any semestered school for the 1st semester

Course Content

• safe work practices
• wheels, hugs, tires & bearings
• frames & suspension systems
• manual & power steering
• brake systems
• basic electrical & batteries
• some welding

Credentials

• receive 16 credits (4 courses) at the Grade 12 level
• receive certification as an Automotive Service Technician 1 with the ITA

Minimum Program Entry Requirements

• English 11 or Communications 11
