Course Content

• Gain understanding of painting industry
• common coatings, surface preparation, tools used in trade, airless spray
• respirator training, fall protection, ladder and scaffold training, elevated platform training and WHMIS
• 480 hours of work experience

Credentials

• receive 4 credits (1 course) at the high school level

Minimum Program Entry Requirements

• Successful completion of Grade 12 graduation requirements*
• physically able
• *NOTE - This program is available to students in grade 11 who intend to return to complete their Grade 12 grad requirements
