Course Content
- to provide opportunity for those seeking employment and registration in either the Parts Person Apprenticeship or the Logistics & Distribution Apprenticeship
- learn how to perform basic warehousing functions which include basic materials handling of all warehouse items, including automotive and industrial engines and equipment parts
- this is an entry level position in which the trainee practices safety skills and has an introduction to warehouse operations, equipment and technology
Credentials
- receive 16 credits (4 courses) at the Grade 12 level
- Kwantlen credential
Minimum Program Entry Requirements
- Successful grade 10 completion (English 10 & Math 10)
- grade 11 completion recommended
- attention to detail, ability to read & transcribe numbers & codes, computing experience
